Nonpartisan organization that builds local advocacy campaigns with affected communities to move state and local election officials toward pro-voter practices: voter registration, access to voting, and fair vote counting and certification. Works on the ground in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Campus Vote Project
A project of Fair Elections Center that works with colleges, universities, and election officials to reduce barriers to student voting on hundreds of campuses across dozens of states. Offers state voting guides, student toolkits, and tools to register and check your registration.
Down Home North Carolina
Down Home organizes multi-racial, working-class communities in small-town and rural North Carolina through member-led, county-based chapters engaged in year-round organizing, leadership development, voter registration, and issue campaigns such as Medicaid expansion.
Election Protection
Nonpartisan voter-protection coalition of more than 300 national, state, and local partners, led by the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Trained volunteers staff voter hotlines and field programs. Hotline numbers are on the Know Your Rights page.
Faith in Action (formerly PICO National Network)
Faith in Action is the nation's largest faith-based community organizing network, using a congregation-based organizing model across 44 affiliated federations and 8 statewide networks in 17 states to run voter education, turnout, and local issue campaigns rooted in congregations.
Florida Rising
Florida Rising organizes, educates, and mobilizes communities across Florida through door-to-door canvassing, phone and text programs, and cultural events as part of its voter outreach and equity campaigns; note: Florida Rising is also a registered lobbying organization and CPD affiliate that publishes an annual legislative agenda, so it blends grassroots canvassing with statehouse lobbying.
League of Women Voters
Nonpartisan grassroots organization founded in 1920, with local Leagues in all 50 states. Volunteers register voters, host candidate forums and debates, publish voter guides, and work on voting rights. The League does not support or oppose any party or candidate.
LUCHA (Living United for Change in Arizona)
LUCHA organizes Arizona's low- and moderate-income and minority communities through door-to-door canvassing (a stated goal of one million doors in 2024), phone banking, and grassroots campaigns for social, racial, and economic justice.
MoveOn (MoveOn Civic Action / Mobilizers)
MoveOn recruits, trains, and coaches a national network of volunteer 'Mobilizers' who organize canvassing, phone banks, text banks, rallies, and lobby visits in their own communities as part of MoveOn's voter mobilization and relational-organizing programs.
New Georgia Project
